Detroit Marathon Training - Week 16 - Run #2

Today was it. The official end of training. Four months and almost 400 miles, all leading up to this Sunday's Detroit Marathon.

Today I took it easy for once. I got on the treadmill at work for a half hour and ran 3.4 miles or so. Nothing fast, except for a few brief speed intervals near the end, just so my body would realize that I wasn't going to run that slow on Sunday.

Now it's time to down some more carbs over the next few days, rest my legs, and visualize a great race. I won't publicly admit my "ambitious" goal, but my realistic goal for the race is to finish in 3:45.
